Freedom to Fight

The RPG's combat system is coming together, all you (0) readers out there.

I'm still sticking with zero graphics for the combat; it'll make everything a whole lot easier. I'm not going for pretty or user-friendly: I'm going for awesome and more awesome and you'll deal with it when the time comes.

By the way, there's no mouse control.

Anyway, back to the programming. Also the contest. I'll do this!

Graphics?

Hell no.

Honestly - I am done with graphics. They're incredibly limiting to deal with right off the bat. If I get something good up eventually? Fine. 'Til then I'm building this game out of text and some icons (icons are okay - as long as I don't need twenty BILLION different icons for any kind of generated awesomeness).

Thank :D [sic]

Progress is Slow

Yeah, that's right - progress is slow :3

It's okay, though. Today I made tetris in an hour and a half or so, and I didn't even test it. After five minutes of testing it was fully functional -- no score, and instead of losing it would crash, and there were a few none-too-important bugs which I ironed out while doing other things.

Anyway, we're working on things (kinda).

An Artist

Newly arrived to the world of awesome:
An artist who lay in front of us all this time.

Anyway, she claims to be maximum amateur but the drawings are still the best :3 I can't wait to see how this works out, and I'm hoping our current little plan for the game is going to work out.

The Blind One

The current team we have thrown together is a team of just two.

You can go up to seven but, alas, we have no such team so this is what we'll have to work with for now :3

I'm not going to tell you our plan because it's just too awesome.

Dream-Build-Play Challenge

Game must be complete by August 6, 2009.

It's finally something to motivate me :D If anyone's an awesome artist and happens to read this (as if!), you should join us. We might win money! Probably not; we might, though ^_^

A Daily Update

The train combat game is... coming along. Progress is not fast, but if it is not at least slow, I will get nowhere, right? :)

I have little tokens for players, and things moving kinda, but it's all sort of ugly. Still, that's fine. I just need to make it fully functional and then I can pretty it up. It's just a bit demoralizing.

Talking to oneself is a sign of good health.
